At Southern Capital Project, we understand that the journey of starting and scaling a business is a thrilling yet challenging endeavor. To gain deeper insights into these experiences and the invaluable support entrepreneurs receive from their local communities, we initiated a groundbreaking research project in 2022 to better understand the experiences of entrepreneurs in Little Rock, Arkansas and Kansas City, Missouri.
Our goal is to delve into the unique challenges, successes, and the ecosystem that nurtures these entrepreneurial ventures. By conducting focus groups and in-depth interviews with local entrepreneurs, we aim to uncover valuable insights that will pave the way for a more robust and supportive environment for businesses to thrive.
Once the research is complete, our commitment extends beyond mere data collection. We will actively collaborate with local small business support organizations, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure that the findings contribute to tangible improvements in the entrepreneurial support infrastructure.
