Aohua Endoscopy Co., Ltd. (SHSE:688212), a portfolio company of Qiming Venture Partners, has introduced its innovative dual-channel endoscope. This advanced endoscope is designed for therapeutic procedures, enabling the simultaneous use of multiple medical devices. By mimicking a "two-handed" approach, it allows for faster and more efficient actions like biopsy, hemostasis, and excision. The dual-channel design reduces the need for frequent accessory changes and addresses the limitations of single-channel models, offering greater flexibility to navigate complex diagnostic and treatment scenarios. #MedicalInnovation #Endoscopy #TherapeuticSolutions #HealthcareTechnology #SurgicalInnovation #PatientCare #HealthcareExcellence #QimingPortfolio #QimingHealthcare

Giant esophageal tear during diagnostic endoscopy in EoE: What would you do? 🤔 Caught off guard by a giant esophageal tear during a diagnostic endoscopy in EoE? Don't panic! Here are 3 steps to help you through it: 🌬️ Step 1: Remain calm Staying composed is crucial in managing unexpected complications. Take a deep breath and focus on the task at hand. → Allows for clear thinking and decision making → Helps maintain a steady hand during the procedure 🧴 Step 2: Suction out the air in the stomach with CO2 if possible Removing excess air from the stomach can help improve visualization and reduce further damage. → Improves visibility of the tear site → Reduces risk of additional tearing due to distension → Allows for better assessment of the lesion's extent 🔍 Step 3: Change your scope to better target the lesion Switching to a more suitable scope can enhance your ability to manage the tear effectively. → Provides better maneuverability and access to the lesion → Allows for precise application of hemostatic techniques → Facilitates thorough evaluation and treatment of the tear Remember, staying calm and following these steps can help you successfully navigate this challenging situation in EoE patients.
