An extremely challenging but rewarding project. Well done everyone involved!
It is fantastic to see this major investment deliver a refurbished and refreshed Long Test Track back into service. Well done to all involved, and it is great to see that the track is now in use, with testing and trials already underway.
From top to the bottom of the UK QQ has highly skilled and talented work Teams that are a credit to their Organisation. Talking of bottom to top Dave Williams of QQ is cycling through the Scottish Lowlands today on his bike ride from Lands End to John o Groats. Perhaps his former Colleagues and friends would like to support with a call out.
It’s tremendous to have the Long Test Track up and running once again. I’m enormously proud of the team involved in making us operational once again.
Great to see. I was involved in RAE(F) ejection seat trials there many years ago!
Plus the other speed trial R&D projects such as Thrust SSC, which made use of the place.
Wow
Thanks for sharing
Team Lead, QinetiQ
1moThis was certainly a challenging project, but after all the hard work by the team it is very rewarding to see it back in action delivering for customers.
