This is where it all started. During the pandemic I decided to put a platform together to help support small businesses in my hometown, Rhyl in North Wales. To add a little contrast to the story I actually live 1,000 miles away in my other home in Germany. Looking back I think I tried to create a digital bridge to my hometown and try to use the lockdown time productively - and it helped. Almost two and half years later the idea is still alive and new opportunities are developing for QRBoxx Ltd. From what started as lockdown project, has now moved into other towns around Wales and we will share our new locations in the coming weeks. Is this the savior for small businesses, no it is not. But what it does do is offer small businesses more visibility on the internet. Any community is reliant on local businesses being successful, creating jobs and creating a circular economy. We are going to continue to create tools to help this process.
