𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 The USA's top schools, Amherst, Caltech, and Columbia, are asking for research papers. Why are you late? The Spring Research 2024 Program Application deadline is February 28, 2024, and the SRP 2024 program starts on March 15, 2024, and runs for 6 weeks. We take 8 sessions and 7 tasks on this program. Students will learn research 101, research methodology, and tools. The YRJ mentor will give feedback after every submission to format their research proposal, research methodology, tools, and the final paper. After the final submission of the research paper, we published it in the YRJ journal. As usual, YRJ will host the Summer Research Program 2024 in June–August. YRJ's target is to encourage students to think before reading, because if you know how to write a research paper, you can present your ideas to the world. Our Bangladeshi students are great, but they don't have the proper guidelines, even at the university level. That's why we can't produce scientists from our country because they don't know how to become scientists or how our work should be done in a novel way. There's more than 20 prestigious research competitions out there for high school students, but we are just on Olympiads. Visit our journal for more details. Excited to share my latest research paper, 'Recommendation System for Student Placement,' published in IJAEM. This work addresses the challenge of predicting student placement with limited data. Modern recruitment now includes rounds like gamified aptitude and behavioral assessments. Our system uses machine learning, specifically a support vector algorithm, to recommend that students develop skills in aptitude, technical, core subjects, and behavior, based on previous dataset. Grateful for the collaboration with Dr. K. C. Rajeswari and Dr. J. Jayanthi. #Research #Publication #PeerReviewed

There are so many ways students can research the best options for them when looking at #university UniTasterDays.com has always been a good starting point. Thanks Jon Cheek for producing this guide giving students lots of advice on what to consider (along with so many amazing colleagues and HELOA members). The University of Liverpool approach has been to support students through their university journey in a hybrid approach. 7 tips to keep in mind as PhD applications can be overwhelming: 1) Initiate the Ph.D. application process well in advance of the application deadline to allow sufficient time for research, preparation, and gathering of required documents. 2) Create a detailed checklist of the various components of the application process to break down the tasks into smaller, manageable parts. 3) Prioritize the most important components of the application, such as crafting a strong research proposal or securing letters of recommendation from respected academics in your field. 4) Seek guidance and support from trusted advisors, professors, or colleagues, who can provide valuable insights and guidance throughout the application process. 5) Stay organized by keeping track of all deadlines, application materials, and correspondence in a dedicated notebook, spreadsheet, or planner to avoid missing any important deadlines. 6) Take breaks and engage in activities that can help reduce stress and prevent burnout, such as spending time with friends and family or engaging in other hobbies and interests. 7) Maintain a perspective throughout the application process, recognizing that it is only one step in a longer academic journey toward achieving one's goals. #phd #opportunity #reachout #AcademicJourney #ResearchCareer #MastersToPhD #NetworkingTips #CareerAdvice #GradSchoolLife #Motivation #PhDApplication #PhDStudent #JobSearch #Success #Application #PersonalDevelopment #PhDPosition #Europe #Mindset #Students #PhDLife #Experiences #Growth #GradStudent #sop #GraduateSchool #abroadapplication

As someone who has been on both sides of the fence – first as a #disruptor in the property and jobs classified business, and later trying to stave off #disruption in print media – I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of #digital #innovation. Ryan Young's statement , "There is one further, albeit less likely, disruption to consider. Now that digital technology and AI have democratized information and can give each of us all the knowledge we could ever need, could universities themselves become superfluous? Might #universities, in the face of a different information environment, inevitably go the way of print #newspapers and local television stations?" is more relevant than ever. In this context, universities must remain vigilant. The democratization of information/knowledge through digital technology and AI presents both opportunities and challenges. To avoid the fate of print media, higher education institutions must innovate and evolve continuously, embracing new technologies and rethinking traditional models of #knowledge creation and dissemination. Pew Research Center analysis of newspaper industry data. Brookings Institution's examination of newspaper revenue and employment trends (see chart in comment)
Are universities relics of the past or a vital engine of future opportunity and progress? Last year I collected a range of views on future disruptions for Australian universities and wrote a report for the Universities Accord Review that came out earlier this year. The core conclusion: existing ways of working and business models in universities are under severe pressure from many angles and will be disrupted. My report is now public, so feel free to check it out: https://lnkd.in/gQf89J3Q To continue on this important topic, I'd love to hear any responses and your views on what you think universities will be, and should be, like in the 2030s and 2040s. And I'd like to thank Prof Mary O'Kane, the entire Review Panel, and the Department of Education for the opportunity to do this work at an important moment for universities in Australia, and the world.
