Today, we had the distinct honor of meeting Mr. Nicodemos Damianou, PhD, the Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy of Cyprus. 🇨🇾 We presented him with the impact report from our recent Quadcode's HackAIthon Event, which aimed to revolutionize the fintech landscape in Cyprus by integrating AI-driven personalization. The impact of this initiative revolves around three spheres: Economic Growth, Innovation and Technological Advancement, and Building an AI Community. We then engaged in a dynamic discussion on several crucial topics. AI Business Hackathon will have its finals event on the 26th of March in BIRD Incubator. 13 teams were chosen, and they were all amazing. All the teams had projects and ideas beyond anything that the members of the jury were expecting (Drazen Orescanin Drazen Kapusta Vanja Škurić). Copilot’s intuitive suggestions and ability to understand my project’s needs saved me countless hours. 🚀 Just wrapped up an incredible hackathon experience with Ripple Innovate over the past couple of days! 🏆 We were a diverse team of 5 from different teams/orgs, united by our passion to solve a challenging problem. 💡 Despite diving into technology that was new to all of us, we embraced the learning curve and came out stronger with a wealth of new knowledge. 📚 Our solution? An OCR + LLM tool designed to read and decipher PDFs and scanned documents, extracting unstructured data and parsing it into a structured format.📄 ✨ The OCR component even identifies handwritten details and marked components within the documents. With the integration of a chat feature, we can query the LLM in the context of the provided document, making it a powerful tool for data extraction and analysis. 🤖📝 The entire experience was unique and exhilarating.
