Here's what happens in the backend when a Machine Shop posts a job on hireCNC. Over the past 15 months we've been building a database of CNC Machinists in the USA and Canada. A lot of resumes, verified email addresses, phone numbers, etc. Admittedly we've spent a ton on Google Ads to do this. When an employer posts a job on the site, it will of course be visible to site visitors (machinists who land on our site through google searches typically). Hopefully there are a few good fits taking a look and applying. But we are also proactive and leverage our database for our customers. We send an email highlighting the job to every verified contact we have in that geographical area. For this job in particular... the employer posted the job yesterday. Today an email went out to 74 machinists in that area who have opted. A few have responded already and applied. Last year was tough for us to get applicants to apply to jobs. Everyone is having trouble finding CNC machinists. It's high demand low supply. And we were a small site with an almost non existent database. So some employers were underwhelmed with the performance of a post (note they were also underwhelmed with their posts on Indeed etc.) Now we have 2400 machinists who have registered on our site, and we are adding around 450 new machinists per month. Our reach is growing quickly which means job posts are performing better and better. Right now it's only $99 for a 30-day job post. Or better yet, $1,000 for 12 months of UNLIMITED job posts. And you can be confident your post will be seen by 1) daily visitors to the site driven by google searches, and 2) emails going out to our machinist database.
