Three of my clients maxed out their First Home Savings Account eligibility of $16,000 but each one did it differently. One deposited $8,000 in November 2023 and another $8,000 on Tuesday, the second deposited $4,000 four times over the course of eight months while the third person started with a deposit of $2,000 and then invested $500 bi-weekly. Now they are all set until the next $8,000 of eligibility is available in January 2025. No matter what saving strategy you employ, using the FHSA as part of your Financial Flight Plan is a smart decision. #fhsa #investing #finances #housepurchase

Thanks to many readers of my HS2 proposals for their feedback and encouragement. One subject I need to clarify is my proposed capacity use in the Colwich area. The Old Oak Common 10 tph service will work, in my view, with only HS2 phase 1, because the proposed quantum of access rights is broadly the same north of Handsacre as now. Adding my proposed 2 tph Curzon Street - Manchester to this, whether via Hixon or Stafford, will almost certainly exceed the capability of Colwich. It might be theoretically possible to run down trains via Stafford and up trains via Hixon to avoid crossover conflicts at Colwich Junction, but we'd need to look further at the detail of this along with the full timetable of passenger and freight services through Colwich. The Curzon St - Manchester service also faces a problem that the third side of the Delta Triangle is not proposed to be finished at present. In conclusion I believe the proposed 2tph Curzon Street - Manchester service can probably only commence when capacity at Colwich and the Delta triangle are resolved one way or another in the future, and for now the existing XC New Street - Manchester service would continue.

If the reprocessed ISIR results in greater financial aid, schools may make estimated offers now, but must use the reprocessed record for final offers and disbursing funds.  Using original ISIRs, as described in today’s EA, will not, on its own, lead to compliance concerns or program reviews. https://lnkd.in/eGZNUCV3
