What doesn't ICE do? The list grows shorter. Now, you can get a #hotdog at the NYSE. The challenge sometimes here on LI is to turn this into a wonderful yarn about hot dogs being a metaphor for some aspect of business, etc. etc. Here's the twist. I came up with about a dozen. Just a few: -Institutions like NYSE and Hot Dogs build consumer trust. I.E. you'd buy a hot dog in #NYC but nowhere else potentially. -Hot dogs invite regular folks to the NYSE to participate in this homage to capital and markets making them more accessible -Simple can be better (watch the video) and stop while you're ahead - more features (toppings?) don't always stretch the value -Sometimes a little risk (what's in that hot dog?) is required to reap the rewards. You have to follow this hot dog guy to cut some risk of course. Really though - I find it interesting that the NYSE (and pretty much any industry or topic you can think of) is full of little surprises like this.
