GE HealthCare recently received 𝗙𝗗𝗔 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 for its new Centiloid scaling tool, integrated into the MIMneuro software, to enhance Alzheimer’s disease imaging. This tool quantifies amyloid plaque density in the brain using PET scans, providing a standardized and automated metric that 𝗮𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝘇𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿’𝘀 with greater confidence. It impacts over 320,000 Canadians. Intestinal ultrasound (IUS) is a promising new technique that can be used to monitor and treat IBD patients, which replaces invasive and expensive colonoscopies and other radiological imaging. This project will seek to accelerate the development and initial commercialization of Satisfai Health’s Sonai, a software that uses Artificial Intelligence to conduct automated measurements of IUS images resulting in faster IUS adoption and greater standardization of key measurements.
