This week, Quantinuum's chief scientist Bob Coecke is giving a talk at the UCL Computer Science Festival of Engineering, organized by Mehrnoosh Sadrzadeh, on "From quantum in high school to interpretable quantum AI". Bob and our Compositional Intelligence team are exploring the intersection of explainable AI with interpretable models, and natural language processing on quantum computers. Their work includes a current collaboration with UCL and the BBC to investigate the potential of using QNLP for content discovery and retrieval within the vast BBC archives. As part of the Festival of Engineering we are hosting a fringe panel event on: What does Responsible AI mean to you and how can we achieve it? In order to raise awareness, share difficulties, and improve the EDI of our digitised data-driven community, we ask our experts what a responsible AI means to them and can it be achieved. Wednesday 17th July at our Holborn venue (or online). We have a line-up of speakers and panelists including; Professors Anthony Finkelstein, Bob Coecke, Edwin Colyer, Mirco Musolesi, Ivana Drobnjak and more.
