Your job may be replaced with #AI, but your personal stories won't. I'm learning that I'm the only one with my life experiences, perspective, and story. This course also taught me that: 🧠 Our brains are hardwired for storytelling 🧠 Stories are how we make sense of the world 🧠 Personal stories perform great on LinkedIn 🧠 Personal storytelling is valued by employers, colleagues, and peers, and can help build your personal and professional brand! Ready for a cliché you've heard 100 times, with a tiny twist? Each of us has a unique story to tell, and no one's told yours yet. Not even ChatGPT. #PersonalBranding #ArtificialIntelligence

Thinking Out of the Box with AI Prompting Special Guest Stephen van Basten, Author of "So you run a small business, now what? Thinking outside the box is essential for crafting high-quality prompts that unlock AI's potential. Instead of following rigid structures, creative prompt design allows for more innovative and personalized responses. When you approach AI with unique, unconventional ideas, it pushes the boundaries of what it can generate. For instance, rather than asking generic questions, prompts that combine multiple perspectives or challenge the AI to consider different scenarios or personas can lead to more insightful and tailored results. Understanding the AI’s Capabilities A crucial part of thinking out of the box when creating AI prompts is understanding the capabilities and limitations of the model. By recognizing what AI excels at—pattern recognition, language generation, and contextual understanding—users can craft prompts that make the most of these strengths. For example, rather than asking a direct question, framing a challenge or a creative scenario prompts the AI to use its deep learning abilities. Complex prompts that allow AI to explore different facets of a problem or delve into creative thinking often yield more insightful results than simple, surface-level questions. Adapting Prompts for Various Outcomes AI prompts can be adapted based on desired outcomes, and this is where out-of-the-box thinking plays a critical role. By being flexible and experimental, users can tweak their prompts to focus on creativity, problem-solving, or even simulating specific personalities. For example, a prompt asking AI to respond as a historical figure or a fictional character can lead to fascinating responses that go beyond standard outputs. This adaptability ensures the AI doesn't just generate responses but tailors them to the context, enriching the interaction. Out-of-the-box thinking involves recognizing that prompt structure, tone, and phrasing can all influence AI output dramatically. Exploring New Dimensions through Experimentation Creativity in AI prompting often comes from constant experimentation. By continuously trying new approaches and testing how slight changes to the prompt can yield different results, users can uncover novel ways to utilize AI. Thinking outside the box requires a willingness to explore prompts that encourage multi-faceted answers, involve layers of nuance, or address hypothetical situations. This process allows users to push AI’s limits and uncover deeper insights, unique ideas, and unforeseen solutions. Ultimately, by embracing experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking, users can transform AI from a basic tool into a powerful partner in innovation Contact stephenvanbasten@gmail.com or +27 83 231 8445 https://lnkd.in/dAztpphK

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲? James had been there. He watched colleagues hand off their content to virtual assistants or low-cost producers, all in the name of “saving time.” But the results? Sure, they managed the inbox, strung a few sentences together—but the heart, the essence of his voice? That was missing. He gave it a shot. Hired someone who meant well, promising to lighten his load. But instead of relief, he was left with a pit in his stomach. The words didn’t feel like his. The depth, the nuance his audience relied on—they were gone. Every time he hovered over the “publish” button, he asked himself, “Is this really me?” Have you ever had that sinking feeling? That tug of doubt, where you wonder if what you’re about to share really captures your truth? We’ve all been there, and when your message matters, doubt becomes a risk you can’t afford. Here’s what I’ve learned: When you trust your voice to someone who doesn’t truly understand your message, it’s like trying to drive with a flat tire. It looks like progress, but it won’t get you where you need to be. If you’re looking for a partner who gets you, who can help amplify—not dilute—your voice and legacy, let’s talk. Because your message is too important to be left in the hands of someone who doesn’t see its full value. In case you're interested, please give this article a read. Could behavioural science and Ai be leveraged to turn Trust-Leaps into Trust-Hops? Rachel Botsman work on trust has enamoured me for years. One of her key areas is the “trust leap”, that step from the status quo into the unknown. For anyone working as a subject matter expert in their field, you will have faced this time and time again: asking a client to step away from a trusted way of doing things. A lot of the time, you are asking them to do this whilst letting go of the reigns and letting data take the lead in decision-making. It’s bloody scary! But could that be changing? Could Ai help bridge the gap between the known and unknown? Would you feel more empowered and more informed with the advice of an Ai beside you? We already feel more comfortable making scary, ‘risky’ decisions when we are with company. Early data suggests this applies to Ai as well. Check out Rachel Botsmans newsletter for a regular dose of trust insight. https://buff.ly/3TSEf7D #behavioralscience #behavioraleconomics #trust #ai #sustainability #leadership #systemsthinking
