With no car available, I've been utilizing my bike to transport unusual items than I normally would. Today, I managed to haul some trucking for a few home improvements with just a couple of cable ties to secure it. Additionally, I enhanced safety by attaching a hi-vis vest at the back. This experience highlights the versatility of using a bike instead of a van or car for transportation needs. A bike proves to be a reliable alternative, allowing for even more versatility. Plus, the absence of traffic is a definite bonus! As this worked so well I will be designing and 3D printing a mount to carry trucking more seacuely and safely. #Transportation #CargoBike #SustainableLiving #Versatility

🌟 Exploring Precision in Metal Additive Manufacturing🌟 Embark with us through the intricate process of designing and printing a metal badminton shuttlecock, uncovering the immense potential that 3D printing technology offers in precision shaping. In the design phase, we meticulously considered the structure, leveraging fine metal elements for the feather-like top. This minimized the need for excessive support during printing. The rope-mimicking structure and the intricately hollowed ball head were thoughtfully crafted for optimal 3D printability, eliminating the necessity for extensive post-printing supports. Precision-formed metal badminton has exquisite details, with a feather gap of 0.25mm, and each feather is clear. The width of the feather of a single piece is 0.45mm, and the thickness is only 0.17mm. This part is produced by our LPBF printing equipment BLT-S210(Build Dimension: 105mm×105mm×200mm, W×D×H). It not only ensures operational ease but also achieves finer precision with a smaller beam diameter. Additionally, it supports challenging materials like silver and bronze, contributing to the advancement of artistic craftsmanship. Mind = Blown 🤯 Who knew that innovation, a 3D printer, and a father's love for his son's dream could lead to a one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Aventador replica? Built in his own backyard over 4 years, using parts from junkyards and a 3D printer bought off Amazon, this project redefines "DIY". From the engine of a 2003 Corvette to a Porsche 911 gearbox, and wrapped in carbon fibre for that sleek finish - this car is a testament to where passion meets ingenuity. A Lamborghini that's not just a car, but a story of dedication and dreams coming to life. Would you take a spin in a Lamborghini made from a 3D printer? #BreseightAustralia #3DPrinting #3dprintedcar ~Video by Wonder World

“In racing terms, seven pounds is a massive amount of weight. The top frame is located high up on the car and therefore must be as light as possible to ensure the center of gravity of the vehicle remains as low as possible. The new, lightweight top frame should see significant improvement, especially as the center of gravity has a direct effect on a car’s tire wear.” That is Tino Belli discussing INDYCAR's 3D printed safety addition, the top frame.
