To reduce the temperature gradient at the skirt-vessel junction by the radiation heat transfer in the triangular non-insulated cavity, FE steady state heat transfer analysis was adopted for the investigation. Design data were taken from Ref. with a slight change and temperature profile was developed for both cases. 2 assumption was considered for the design: 1. Insulation& fireproof were excluded from the plot for better visualization. 2. A typical design for hot box can be composed of the segmented rings indirectly attached to vessel via clips. 🔔 Our resistors feature a high finish welding surface thanks to the EBW process. Electron beam welding is classified as a new welding process because it uses electrons kinetic energy to fuse to metal work pieces.This whole process carried out in vacuum otherwise the electrons collides with air particles and lose energy. In this welding process, a high jet of electrons strikes at welding plates where its kinetic energy converts into heat energy. This heat energy is sufficient to melt the work pieces and fuse them into one piece. It can weld both similar and dissimilar metals. Because no filler material and flux are used, it lows operating cost and provides high metal joining rate. But it requires high skilled labor.

The mechanical properties of aluminum can be negatively affected by dissolved hydrogen in the metal. To mitigate this, a rotary degassing process introduces an inert purge gas (in this case, nitrogen) into the melt. The circulation created by the rotor allows the hydrogen to diffuse into the inert gas bubbles.
