The December edition of Trenchless Australasia is now online and available to be read as a digital magazine. This issue celebrates Rädlinger Primus Line whose local subsidiary, Raedlinger Primus Line Pty Ltd, is celebrating 10 years operating in Australia and New Zealand. During this time the company has been influential in educating utilities and asset owners about the benefits of trenchless rehabilitation, completing more than 70 projects, including a 3,000 m Urban Utilities installation under Ann St in Brisbane. The edition also contains a training and education section, featuring ACP AUSTRALIAN CUSTOM PIPES PTY LTD, IBAK Australia Pty Ltd and Channeline. A 36” line, crossing under a lake delivering water to the local Community was deemed unusable. Bringing to bear 80 plus years of subsurface utility installation experience, Gabe's Construction Co., Inc. was consulted for a solution.  Partnering with Brierley Associates Corporation and Underground Solutions to deliver a concept to completion project that included: -Proofing the 36” host pipe with 20 ft steel mandrels prior to pullback. -3200 ft of 20” FPVC pulled into the 36” host pipe. -57,000 Gallons of grout with continuous batching -24-7 grout agitation with grid power, reducing carbon footprint. -Successful hydro test. With 10,220-LF of tunneling through challenging sand, silt, and high groundwater conditions, our system helped overcome deep excavation needs, creek crossings, and tight space restrictions with accuracy and efficiency. By value-engineering solutions, several launch shafts were eliminated, cutting costs and reducing disruptions for nearby residents. The outcome?
