A recent survey of New Zealand businesses showed that despite confidence being down there were still some areas they were prepared to spend in. Can you guess what? And what they have to do with these folks? The top 3 were: 1. Strategy Development 2. Customer Retention 3. Staff Training Great events and activations can make a big difference with numbers 2 and 3. Bringing people together amplifies emotion and connection - great things when you want to build loyalty to your brand or within your team. But you need a good dose of number 1. With all my travels to our sourcing offices, and visiting suppliers around the world, I inevitably have lots of #traveltips. ✈️ My colleagues and friends are always asking for them, so I thought I would start sharing a few of my favorites from time to time. Here’s the first one. I’m known for never checking a bag. I’ve managed to travel for weeks at a time with just a carry-on and a backpack. The trick is that I never bring full-sized anything – mini and compact packing all the way. That includes any OTC or RX meds. One of my favorite finds are these tiny containers that categorize your meds and have the brand label right on the front. Apart from discovering the beautiful landscapes of this longest and thinnest country of the world on my trip to Chile in December, I also had the opportunity to meet with an important person at the e-commerce scene in Chile. After many years of working together from different continents 🌎, I have finally met Alberto, the eCommerce Manager of Head Chile, one of the most important retailers in Chile.
