FOODIVAL is well aware of the complexity and diversity of procurement management in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. Different types of restaurants may adopt different procurement models, such as direct procurement by restaurants, central procurement, or even a hybrid model, to meet daily operational needs. As such, it is vital for the F&B industry to take the comprehensiveness of a procurement system into account when considering digital transformation. If the system is not comprehensive enough to meet a restaurant’s needs, there is a high chance that employees will be less willing to learn and use the new system which may cause them to revert to the old and familiar way of manual working, or even leave the system idle, ultimately wasting resources invested in digitalization. Food Procurement Specialist Allmanhall Turns 18 After 18 years of collaboration with manufacturers, suppliers, clients and other partner organisations through the supply and value chain, allmanhall is well and truly established and mature. Saturday 14th September marks its 18th birthday. Supporting foodservice teams in sectors from education to care and from business to leisure has been an evolving challenge and privilege for the award-winning food procurement team. From two men in a shed (father and son team, Edward and Oliver Hall) 18 years ago, allmanhall is now an expanding team of almost 50 people. Hall family members still make up one third of the senior leadership team and the sense of family runs throughout the company. Its aim is to retain core principles, investing in and nurturing individuals, whilst driving sustainable value and real results for client partners and suppliers alike. allmanhall’s personal touch and commitment to real results, where everybody matters, continues to be unwavering. Managing Director, Oliver Hall, marks this big milestone by saying, “It’s hard for me to believe that 18 years have passed... and what an 18years they have been! It is humbling to have had the pleasure and privilege to work with so many incredible people and organisations already. The foodservice landscape has changed dramatically since 2006 but allmanhall has, and continues, to adapt and remain agile and alert to the new needs and changing challenges.” Looking back over the 18 years, allmanhall continues to work with its first client partner, St Paul’s Girls’ School, Hammersmith. This is not surprising when allmanhall can claim a 97% client retention rate. Today, more than 150 further client sites are part of allmanhall’s ever growing community. And allmanhall continues to go for gold – from EcoVadis rating to Investors in People. However, far from being ‘all grown up’ allmanhall continues to embrace the growth mindset that its culture has always encouraged. “No-one is a finished article,” comments Director Jo Hall. “We can always be developing and learning and have no intention of losing our personal, fresh approach, and the spark and energy that makes us uniquely ‘allmanhall’”. A final word from Oliver Hall, , “Someone asked me to sum up what I’d like to say to mark our 18th anniversary... and I’ll keep it short and succinct: “Thank you, all. Read More:
