Ever wondered where does the term "Biotechnology" come from !!! Most of us know that "Biotechnology" is a new term but the principle of #biotechnology was used centuries ago. 👉 The #term "#biotechnology" was coined in 1919 by Hungarian engineer "Karl Ereky". 👉 Ereky used the term to describe the use of living organisms and their products to create useful substances or solve industrial problems. 👉 He went on to publish a book in 1921 titled "Biotechnology: The Science of Life's Products." Since then, the field of #biotechnology has greatly expanded and encompasses a wide range of scientific and industrial applications. 👉 Karl Ereky wrote a book called "Biotechnology: The Science of Life Industrialization".
