While its important to focus on a companies 'big P' (firm purpose) and employees connection to it, its also important to also explore individuals 'small p' or personal purpose. Asking why are you here? What do you love about being here? Give me a picture of what you want to do with yourself two years from now? What do you think your current role and our organization can do to help you fulfill that vision? Ideally there should be alignment between 'big P' and 'small p' but starting with 'small p' shouldn't be underestimated. It is engaging, personal and can open conversations about the the firm purpose. Which do you think is the best approach to take? #rerecruitment #purposedriven #drivenbypurpose
