Yesterday Workday announced our intent to make HiredScore part of the Workday family. 💡 In the last two years, I've spoken to all of my FSI customers on Workday's Skills and Talent strategy. A lot of questions have come to us on interoperability and what we're doing in the space of AI driven Talent Acquisition. Top Talent Is Hard to Find, Harder to Keep Workday published yesterday its Global Workforce Report. Key findings: 1. Employers have more choice. In general Job applications grew 4 x faster than requisitions in the first half of 2024. 2. Voluntary turnover of “high-potential employees” is up in 75% of industries tracked. Turnover is particularly high in the communications, media and technology; education; and nonprofit sectors. 50% of companies struggle to keep their best people. To address this, many are turning to internal mobility programs to help employees grow and develop within the company. These programs have been successful, with 67% of leaders reporting a positive impact on their organization. 3. Hiring managers and talent seem to have raised their standards. 72% of leaders raised the bar for qualifications and experience. But, despite the more challenging hiring environment, top talent is still looking for better opportunities at a higher rate than in late 2023. 4. 45% of industries saw a decrease in overall employee engagement 5. 84% of the companies surveyed use a form of AI/ML based hiring. 77% of organizations plan to increase their use of AI in hiring in the coming year. The most popular ways they're using it now include testing candidates' skills (26%), screening resumes and applications (26%), and automating repetitive tasks (24%). Source: https://lnkd.in/edGJc8yv
