The guidance covers: 1) Journal articles (reprints), 2) Published clinical reference resources including clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) 3) Scientific presentations by corporate Sponsors/Manufacturers Public responses to the guidance are split over how to define whether or not early stage research could be considered clinically relevant and not allowed type of communication. This early communication is especially impactful and relevant for oncology research.
