Five decades since the end of General Franco’s Fascist Spain, the former dictator’s legacy still looms large over much of Spanish society. Under pressure from the left, the current PSOE government passed the Democratic Memory Law which addresses this dark period by ensuring the government takes a central role in bringing justice to victims and their families, excavating mass graves of those his forces killed, properly educating Spain’s youth on the nature of Franco’s rule and stripping all symbols that glorify him. But right-wing and far-right organisations have railed against this controversial law and still support Franco. Our latest episode looks at how Franco's shadow still looms over modern Spain.

WHY DID GREAT BRITAIN RECEIVE 0 POINTS AT THE EUROSONG? According to the media, the Eurosong is an event that belongs to DUALITY. Duality is the PERCEPTION of PHYSICAL REALITY based on BELIEFS that contains the CONSCIOUS MIND OR EGO that creates and governs physical reality. The ego was created by the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND OR SOUL so that the soul, which is eternal and limitless, would EXPERIENCE ITSELF THROUGH THE EGO IN THE CONDITIONS OF SELFLIMITATIONS BY TIME AND SPACE. At the ego level, PEOPLE ASSESS what is good and what is not good based on their own beliefs. A KEY belief of the ego is that THROUGH THAT WHICH IS NOT, WHAT IT IS IS ESTABLISHED. This means that THROUGH WHAT IS BELIEVED TO BE NOT GOOD, WHAT IS BELIEVED TO BE GOOD IS DETERMINED. Another key ego belief is ESTABLISHING BEHAVIORAL LIMITS THROUGH EXAGGERATION. This belief is supported by the belief that OTHER PEOPLE NEED TO BE PROVOCATED IN ORDER TO EXAGGERATE. GREAT BRITAIN throughout history confirms that IN ITS COLLECTIVE EGO it has beliefs about exaggeration and provoking others to exaggeration (MONTY PYTHON, for example). THIS YEAR'S REPRESENTATIVE of Great Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest showed that this is so. By scoring 0 POINTS, he showed WHERE THE LIMITS OF COLLECTIVELY ACCEPTED BEHAVIOR ARE. When all the above is taken into account, it should be emphasized that the EUROSONG AS AN EVENT HAS ITS UNIQUE FREQUENCY. According to the UNIVERSAL LAW that says LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE, ONLY SINGERS WHOSE PERSONAL FREQUENCY IS SIMILAR TO THE EUROSONG FREQUENCY could participate in the Eurosong. On Monday, October 21st, we had the honor of welcoming the Ambassador of Sweden to the Netherlands, Mr. Johannes Oljelund, and the Honorary Consul of Sweden in Willemstad, Ms. Lisanne Asjes, together with Ms. Nerissa Romero from the Directorate of Foreign Relations, to our offices. The CINEX team had a productive discussion with the Ambassador about our role as an investment and export promotion agency. President Valdas Adamkus has been rewarded as a two-decade European. At that time, he was an active participant and witness of the process of Lithuania's accession to the European Union. In a 9-minute interview on LRT yesterday, he shared his insights. Here are some of the most important points he made: Lithuania's accession to the EU is an achievement of the whole nation: Adamkus stressed that Lithuania's successful integration into the EU is not only an achievement of the government, but also of the whole Lithuanian nation. Contrast between being European 20 years ago and today: He pointed out the significant differences between Lithuania's position in Europe two decades ago and now. Efforts to increase Lithuania's role in the EU: Adamkus underlined his efforts as President to ensure that Lithuania is not only a participant in the EU, but also a decision-maker defending the country's interests at European level. Equal status among EU countries today: He noted with pride that Lithuania is now on an equal footing among EU countries, which reflects the country's progress and integration into the European community.
