🚀 Business showers. Why isn’t this a thing? 🤔 🎤 We all know Elon for his controversial views. But this one landed well, I have to say. At least for me? 👀 I feel many times, we here in Europe, are a bit too embarassed of our businesses in the early days. 💥 But why? We should all launch with a blast! ✨ Building a startup should be fun, so choose your co-founders carefully If you want to start a business on your own, then I have two bad news for you: ➡️ It will be lonely and difficult, if you succeed. ➡️ There is a good chance you will not succeed. According to Y Combinator, only 4% of their successful ventures had solo founders. Yesterday, my co-founder Omar and I went through a 2-hour walking meeting in the city. We had so much fun covering the following topics: - Initiating creative thinking - The future of AI - Our business challenges - Building our team - Automations and processes - The company culture - Our exit strategy - Finding co-founders - Interactive engagement tools - A few new business ideas - And more. If you are not excited by the work you’re doing, then the questions you should be asking yourself are ⭐️ why are you doing what you’re doing? ⭐️ how can you make what you’re doing exciting? ⭐️ when will you quit and start doing what the world needs you to do. Serendipity is a wonderful thing! By taking a sabbatical, I had set myself a couple of objectives. After 4 years working from home, I missed the office. Smart conversations, getting together around a whiteboard solving problems, building upon each other ideas. We all have our scars from the Covid pandemic. Having lived through lock downs, international move with a family of 6, routing kids into a new school, new community & new sports, all while working remotely in a new job. It had taken it’s toll! While putting myself out there, spending time networking, I happened to meet Danny Menken. After he joined a Venture Studio, we got to talk, where there was a natural fit between my passion for sports, marketing, my expertise and the team. Not afraid of moving fast, experienced in building businesses, and with a clear vision on how to leverage the ventures to grow. I joined ve2.ventures as a part-time Operating Partner Go To Market strategy & Growth, working across all the ventures.  We still have room to grow, new ventures to become part of the portfolio.
