When you have major news agencies “kill” a story or photo released by a company, it’s no longer a trusted source. The “Never complain, never explain” PR style of the Kensington Palace is not only so outdated but now much detrimental to the organization. The important question is: How do you bring a centuries old communications style to the modern day? The beauty of language and communications is that it is malleable. It can—and should—evolve with the times. Three thoughts come to mind: 1) Especially in the age of social media – transparency is every company’s best friend. 2) Companies must evolve alongside cultural shifts and technology advancements to stay relevant and build lasting connections. 3) Isn't manipulating a photo trying to "explain" something? Seems contradictory, right? (by the way, did they use Photoshop 1.0 on a MS-DOS 😂?) #CommChat
