As my first year at Indiana University comes to a close, I'm grateful for all of the opportunities I've had to get involved here on campus. Among my various involvements, my experience with Kelley Student Government stands out as one of the highlights of my freshman year. Making a meaningful impact on the lives of my fellow students has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I've grown so much as a result of the opportunities this organization has provided me with.
I've had the privilege of serving as a general delegate in the fall and as the Director of Alumni Engagement for a brief period in the spring. I've learned so much through these positions, and I'm excited to announce that I was recently elected, inducted, and have officially started serving as the new Vice President of Membership! I'm beyond grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to see where this journey takes me.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my first year at Indiana University. I'd like to specially thank Raj V. Desai, Ajith Amba, and Julia Heath for being huge sources of guidance within KSG for me, as well as to my parents, all my close friends, and my partner, Mehek Gupta, for always being there to support me in and outside the classroom. Here's to many more great things to come!
