Technology, Transformation and Operations

After few years industry is beginning to have a sense on how and in which scenarios Open RAN and Cloud RAN can help in real world deployments. Whatever is decided by a telecom operator, the underlying need is flexibility of deployment options as telcos have in one way or other already invested/decided on their cloud play/infrastructure and NOKIA is covering it all .. few more years and the ORAN/CRAN will have a clear future path, that will be exciting and can be tremendously disruptive. Looking forward to this next technology evolution side by side with introduction of 5G advanced and 6G

Our customers have been clear: they want more flexibility in how they build their Radio Access Networks (RAN) without compromising on performance, efficiency or feature-richness.   We listened, drove the development of Open RAN and built our products accordingly.   Nokia’s #anyRAN approach is revolutionizing #OpenRAN and #CloudRAN by enabling our customers to utilize any cloud infrastructure, server hardware or general purpose processor of their choice.   This means our industry-leading #RAN portfolio can seamlessly integrate and interoperate with products from other suppliers. We have worked hand-in-hand with leading industry partners to make this happen, accelerate market development and realize our customers' goals.   I call upon the whole industry to be clear about their approach to Open and Cloud RAN, so customers can access the full power of these exciting technologies. ..........
