⛳️Tiger Woods’ 27-year partnership with Nike has come to an end, where the brand reportedly paid over $500 million over the last 27 years.
📈Having a superstar like Woods on their roster was a business decision and the association had massive impact on Nike's golf business.
💡 Endorsement effect boosted Nike’s golf ball sales by 9.9 million dozen and added $103 million in revenue
💡 Just 18 months after Tiger Woods’s initial endorsement, Nike increased its golf ball market share from 1.5% to 6.6% while Titleist dropped from 24.9% to 21.8%
💡 Moreover, having Tiger Woods' endorsement led to a price premium of roughly 2.5%. As a result, approximately 57% of Nike's investment in Woods' $181 million endorsement deal was recovered just in U.S. golf ball sales alone
💡 Nike's golf business has amassed more than $10 billion in sales, withe the peak year in 2013 with $791 million in revenues
💥If chosen strategically, a brand ambassadors can really define your brand and boost sales
What next for Tiger?
💡It could be an extension and expansion of partnership with TaylorMade Golf Company as the company looks set to come up with a new range of merchandise
💡Something on the lines of what Roger Federer did with On after termination of his partnership with Nike. Federer ended up making great returns from the deal and so could, Woods, which might be tempting

5 Commandments of Street Football
If you want to be respected as a Street Footballer then these are the commandments that you must follow.
1. Always have a ball with you
A ball is the basic necessity of any footballer. Street Footballers take carrying a ball to a whole new extreme, some even sleep with a ball. Make sure to have a ball so you never miss a game opportunity.
2. Respect other street footballers
Respect is essential. There’s no shaming of another street footballer, respect the level that they are at. Don’t go onto social media to call anyone out, you’ll end up looking like an idiot.
3. Develop your own style
Style and flair is what defines a street footballer. Learn what style you like most and what suits you best, whether it’s bright or blackout boots, or even if you prefer Nike or Adidas. Make your own style and stand out...

We illustrated Erling Haaland's record breaking 36 goal season onto the 22/23 Nike Premier League ball.
Here's why, and how...
Why?
We love working with our clients, but to keep our creativity bubbling, it's vital that we continue to work on personal projects. Having the ability to invent your own brief and work without boundaries really lets the creative juices flow, and some of our best projects and biggest client wins have come off the back of a self initiated project that's gained attention online.
With this project specifically, it's been nice to close down Photoshop, turn off the computer and do something 'screen-free' for a change.
We also think that as the world continues to get more digital, physical objects are becoming increasingly important and as much as we love seeing our designs online, it's often fleeting. So having something tangible at the end of it is superb.
How.
After the success of our Euro 2024 and Olympic games illustrated balls, we wanted to try something different.
After researching Premier League Golden Boot winners, we noted that Erling Haaland is currently the top scorer of all time in the Premier League with 36. So we bought a Nike Aerow Flight replica ball and decided to draw every goal he scored, directly onto the ball.
We planned out the process by measuring the ball, splitting it into 36 sections and then drawing an illustration to represent each type of goal scored (tap ins, headers, penalities, volleys, chips etc). We connected the illustrations with a dotted line that allows the viewer to follow the goals in order and then we filled any empty space with stats and quotes from the season.
Each illustration is hand drawn onto the ball with Posca pens, using only a sky blue and black pen to give it a City feel. Once we were done, we varished the ball with a spray varnish to protect the ink. Then took it to our local park to test drive it (and grab some content in the process)
Next up, we've purchased an old school Mitre Pro-Max to chart Alan Shearers 34 goal season in 1994!
And if you can't be bothered reading the above, check our the video version we made for tiktok below...

ICYMI: Mondo Duplanti broke the world record for a pole vaulter for the eighth time at only 24 years old. While his achievements are awe-inspiring, it raises an interesting question - is it better to work smarter, not harder, to gradually achieve your goals, or should you aim to reach your peak performance in one fell swoop?
In pole vaulting, where every centimeter counts, agility and gradual improvement might seem like the most prudent strategy. Duplantis himself has emphasized the importance of technique and consistency, breaking down the elements of a jump in super-slow motion to reveal its intricacies. However, the story of Sergei Bubka introduces a different perspective.
Bubka, the former Olympic pole vaulter, broke the world record in 1984 and then spent a decade strategically edging it upwards at a rate that suited his lucrative Nike bonuses. In total, Bubka broke the world record 35 times (17 outdoor and 18 indoor) by the smallest possible height so he could cash in on a $100,000 Nike bonus with each new record. The question is, did we truly witness Bubka vaulting as high as he could, or was his performance influenced by extrinsic factors?
As we celebrate the remarkable achievements of athletes like Mondo Duplantis and Sergei Bubka, it's essential to consider the balance between gradual improvement and reaching one's peak. What motivates us to pursue our goals, and how do incentives shape our journey? These are questions worth exploring as we strive for excellence in our respective endeavors.
So, what's your take on this?
