Learning about how to make Job Descriptions and how important as an HR to be Specific and to include main responsibilities of an applicant without putting them any pressure while reading those responsibilities. In this activity we've learned that Job Descriptions must be a real deal, meaning whatever you have write HR made sure that everything must provide, like benefits, salaries, and supplemental pays.Company with a good reputation providing benefits to the employees by following what written in the Job Description will attract more applicant to apply.Feedbacks can also help so as an HR we need to make sure that everything will provide and of course it's a vise versa..provide you the good benefits"applicant must also do the best to their job"👌

I Help HR and Aspiring HR Own Their Pivot in 90 days- HR Career and Leadership Development Coach - Podcast Host - Global HR Business Partner
10 transferrable skills that can get you into HR (w/o) experience. HOT TAKE 🔥: They are much more attractive than a new certification (yup, I said it) Certifications focus on theoretical knowledge. Your employer can leverage the following skills right away. 🟢 Project Management 🟢 Collaboration 🟢 Resourcefulness 🟢 Communication 🟢 Listening 🟢 Creativity 🟢 Problem Solving 🟢 Resolving Conflict/Mediation 🟢 Relationship Building 🟢 Resilience Certifications will likely not help you stand out (sorry, I know you have been told differently). Because it only shows that you can learn theoretical HR knowledge. And even once you obtain the new certification you still have to market and sell your non-HR skills. Employers value real skills. Employers value relevant experience. Employers value high-potential talent. Honey, you think you don't have the skills you need to pivot! But honestly, it ain't your skills! It is your communication of the amazing skills you possess! I promise once you learn to sell your non-HR experience, you won't have to wait 6 months for your next role. You can land your role ASAP. 10x your time to secure an offer with the skills you already have versus investing in an unnecessary certification. Learn the exact skills you need to start marketing yourself better in my 'Ultimate Guide to Accelerate Your HR career Search' See 🔗 ⬇️

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! When changing careers, oh let's say from a school office environment to HR, where would one begin? What should they focus on skill set wise? How can you incorporate experience gained to experience needed for this new particular field? Thanks in advance.🍀

HR pros are often under the microscope. Which makes owning mistakes that much more difficult…and important. We’re all human. Mistakes are inevitable. Having a go-to approach for how to handle mistakes is a must: 1️⃣ Be Accountable - Own the mistake 2️⃣ Be Creative - Figure out solutions to the mistake 3️⃣ Be Responsible - Take the mistake AND solutions to leadership 4️⃣ Be Adaptable - Make implementing the solution the top priority 5️⃣ Be Trustworthy - Provide consistent updates until the mistake is fixed Going through the above takes humility. But it makes sure each mistake is a learning opportunity. ------------------------------------------------------- ♻ Repost if you found this helpful and follow me, Amy Mencarelli, to grow your HR career.

Dear HRs, when you post a job opening, a simple reply to comments or messages can provide applicants with hope and a sense of acknowledgement. Remember, training is often given regardless of experience level, so let's avoid unnecessary barriers and focus on hiring based on potential and willingness to learn. #IT #corporate #HR
