From the last few days, everyone is happy in my family 👪 My neighbours are congratulating my parents 🤝 Everyone is surprised about my big achievement 🎉 Time to reveal now! I just cracked a high-paying tech job as an 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫. 💼 Now the question would be, why did I shift my path from mechanical engineering to IT? It's simple, I didn’t find great jobs in my domain so I chose tech and to reach my destination, I joined NxtWave. Here, I learned tech skills from scratch through detailed classes by expert trainers. 📚 Also, the NxtMock feature and placement preparation kit were beneficial for interview prep. I analysed my interview answers, practised mock interviews, and drew motivation from the success stories of other learners. Being a non-tech grad, I never thought I would crack a high-paying tech job. But here I’m celebrating my success. This is my success journey. After graduating in mechanical engineering in 2019, I aimed for banking exams. But COVID-19 brought uncertainty. So, seeing the rapid growth of IT, I decided to shift into tech. From test tubes🧪 to code lines💻 Yes. That’s my story. After my MSc in organic chemistry, I worked in the research field for 1 year and 6 months. Later, I prepared for government jobs. However, I didn’t get through. At that time, I didn’t know something very big was waiting for me, and it will come in this way! My sister works in the tech domain. So, I used to watch her code.  It sparked my interest and I started to consider tech as a second career option. Luckily, through one of her colleagues we came across NxtWave. I was doubtful about building skills for a tech career, But then something amazing happened! 😀 I was in my final year of EEE, when I saw my CSE friends working on codes and building amazing projects. My journey from Setbacks to Success From 2019 to 2022, I struggled a lot to build a strong career for myself. Right from the government jobs to the private sector, I gave my best but still faced failures. I lost my confidence. One day, my sister’s friend who is from mechanical engineering background  introduced me to NxtWave to build skills for a tech career. Being a mechanical engineering graduate myself, I realized if she could do it, I can do it too. I enrolled in the program and started my journey.
