Today draws a close to our best week of new job-volume (recruitment demand) since the highs of 2022. The contrast to this time last year is stark, as we enter, what is typically, the peak season for job hunters (late Q1 in to Q2). Interestingly, the new vacancies this week are significantly weighted towards Talent Acquisition hires - welcome news for that candidate community, and also a positive indicator for us all regarding business optimism. The next two weeks will be instructive in determining whether this week is a fluke, or a sign of what is to come. Expect a better year than 2023, the question is by how much. Hawkwood

September review : I have been using HARRISON for over 5 years now ! It is a valuable tool for preparing career advancements, securing a recruitment, and preparing for coaching (HARRISON is an excellent mediator when it comes to creating consensus during the launch tripartite meetings between HR, manager, and future coachee). This test is wonderfully comprehensive and never gives the impression of a stereotyped analysis. The debriefings are very enriching exchanges. I had a fantastic call with Harrison Assessments Int'l team today. It seems like Harrison is less well-known compared to Myers–Briggs Type Indicator or Holland Code, but I find its concept very powerful and we consider using it at JobAtlas to show career options. Harrison is build upon a notion that we select our occupations based on our behavioral preferences. Not skills and talents as it's commonly thought. What do you think about it?
