Understanding the Levels of Fluorescence in Diamonds 💎✨ The Gemological Institute of America (GIA), one of the world's most respected diamond grading organisations, has developed a scale to classify the intensity of a diamond's fluorescence. This scale consists of the following five grades: GIA Diamond Fluorescence Scale: None: No observable fluorescence under UV light. Faint: A slight degree of fluorescence that is difficult to detect. Medium: A noticeable level of fluorescence. Strong: A prominent degree of fluorescence that is easily visible. Very Strong: An intense level of fluorescence that is very apparent. It is important to note that the GIA scale only measures the intensity of the fluorescence, not its colour. I got to know something interesting about today i.e. 23/11/2023 🌞 Today is Fibonacci Day 2023. November 23 every year is an annual holiday that honours one of the most influential mathematicians of the Middle Ages - Leonardo Bonacci. We have heard about the Fibonacci series that goes like 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, .....and so on. In this series, the number is the sum of the previous two digits in the series. When today's date is written in mm/dd format i.e. 11/23, the digits in the date form a Fibonacci sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3. One of the beauties of the Fibonacci sequence is that the series is evident all over the natural world.
