Professors Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne introduced the concepts of red and blue oceans in their international best-seller Blue Ocean Strategy. First published in 2005, it was updated and expanded with fresh content in 2015. So happy to meet today at the RINA Christmas Buffet, Prof. Harilaos N. Psaraftis, a prominent personality of international academia and not only, who had been my professor at the National Technical University of Athens during my studies back in the 80's. I could not resist to ask his valuable opinion on IMO, Market Based Measures and decarbonization pathway. We both agreed that the road ahead is steep and we are probably already in delay to meet the targets set.
