𝐍𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 ❌🌴 Since the early days of the pandemic, we hadn't witnessed such a strong market correction. So thank you to ntv Telebörse & DWS Group for inviting me to discuss the current sentiment within our community at getquin during these unpredictable times. It was also great to hear Johanna Goeckel insights on how the week had been at Xtrackers. Here are the main points from our discussion: - 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: The clash between "should have sold" and "buy-the-dip" approaches was evident, with the latter clearly driving a strong close on Friday. - 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠: Despite the volatility, many are increasing their positions in stocks and ETFs, showing confidence in future growth potential. - 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫: ETF savings plans kept being executed and some even increased their monthly share, underlying the importance of the dollar-cost averaging strategy. - 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐓𝐅𝐬: Their use is being increasingly complemented from a purely de-risking tool to a vehicle for capitalising on market opportunities. This is underlined by strong inflows seen in thematic topics. The recent market movements though serve as a crucial reminder: 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭. So it's always good to keep an eye on your portfolio and ensure it can weather strong corrections. Check out the full interview below 👇 https://lnkd.in/eZPTQR6k #markets #etf #stocks

Many thanks Rapha for coming to Frankfurt and sharing your insights 💡! Great hearing that staying invested or buying the dip had been the preferred strategies by getquin users.

Thanks for joining us and sharing the insights from the getquin community! You summed it up perfectly „time in the market beats timing the market“ - this might be my new favorite quote for retail investors! 🎯
