Leetcode problem of the day : Robot Collisions The problem that we are tackling for today is that given the positions, healths, and movement directions of robots, determine the healths of the robots that survive after potential collisions. Approach used: 1. Initialize Data Structures: - Create a list of arrays to hold robot data, including position, health, direction, and original index. - Sort the robots by their positions to manage interactions in the correct order. 2. Simulate Movements and Collisions: - Use a stack to keep track of robots moving to the right ('R'). - Traverse through the sorted list of robots: - If the robot is moving to the right or the stack is empty, add it to the stack. - If the robot is moving to the left ('L'), check for collisions with robots in the stack. - Resolve collisions by comparing healths and updating the stack and robot healths accordingly. 3. Generate Result List: - After processing all robots, extract the surviving robots from the stack. - Sort the surviving robots by their original indices to maintain the correct order. - Collect the healths of the surviving robots into a result list. 4. Return the Result: Return the list of healths of the surviving robots. Time Complexity : O(NlogN) Space Complexity : O(N) Link : https://lnkd.in/gp-K4XtY Feel free to connect for more insights on algorithm optimization and problem-solving strategies! 😉
