We believe in fostering connections that extend beyond the office walls. Through our immersive experience at the Tertúlia Algarvia, we gained invaluable insights into the intersection of food and teamwork. Beyond professional alliances, we connected on a personal level, sharing stories, laughter, and moments of joy. It's not just about transactions; it's about creating relationships. Just like in the kitchen, effective communication is essential in the workplace. We learned how to coordinate tasks, share ideas, and ensure everyone is on the same page, resulting in smoother workflows and better outcomes. In the kitchen, things don't always go according to plan. We learn to adapt on the fly, improvise when needed, and overcome challenges together. Cooking allowed us to unleash our creativity. In our professional endeavors, thinking outside the box and embracing innovation can lead to groundbreaking solutions and ideas. Food brings people together from different backgrounds and cultures. By embracing diversity within team, we enrich our perspectives, foster inclusivity, and create a more vibrant and dynamic work environment. In sharing our journey at Tertúlia Algarvia, we aim to inspire other teams to explore the transformative power of combining food and teamwork. #tertuliaalgarvia #B16thecreativeclan #teambuilding

In this post about eDreams, one might express concerns in a balanced yet critical tone: In my experience, eDreams could improve in respecting customer relationships. It’s noteworthy that their social media, including their Facebook page, seems to restrict user reviews and comments. This approach might not align with the ideals of transparency and open dialogue that are valuable in business. While they offer solutions like coupons, it’s worth considering whether these truly address customer needs. It’s intriguing to observe a company’s longevity under such practices. For a fuller picture, I encourage a review of their public interactions on Facebook. See the customer’s comments on their post…concerning. Anybody else had interactions with these guys? A Fresh Start As we move through this season of festivals, it's a natural time to reflect on new beginnings. These celebrations serve as a reminder to consider what we might Start, Stop, and Continue in our lives, both personally and professionally. At Work: Start: Developing a new skill or taking on a challenging project. Stop: Multitasking and focus on deep work for better results. Continue: Building strong relationships with colleagues and creating a collaborative environment. Finding Balance: The festivals also remind us of the importance of balance between Prakriti (nature) and Sanskriti (culture). Prakruti represents the natural world, while Sanskriti signifies our values, traditions, and the way we live within nature. Perhaps we can: Start by incorporating healthy habits like walks or breaks outdoors. Stop neglecting our well-being by setting boundaries and taking time for ourselves. Continue creating a culture of respect for diversity and inclusion, reflecting the rich traditions of our society. By embracing new beginnings and finding balance, we can create a more fulfilling and productive work environment for ourselves and our teams. Here's to a fresh start! #developinggreatmanagers #manager #new

Hospitality Operations specialist - Bar operations | Training & Development | Creative | Brand Development 1-1 Coaching
It's been a while LinkedIn, and yeesh we been busy. ⚡ After many years of fire fighting in my previous role, I left with a wealth of experience. I was fortunate to have incredible support, development, and opportunities along the way. I helped bring together brands, develop concepts, and create award-winning menus, and we had an amazing time doing it. The best part? The people. The education and experiences I shared over the years, watching individuals grow in confidence, seizing opportunities, and then going on to achieve great things—that's something I'll forever be grateful for. (You know who you are) COVID had a profound impact on me. It pushed me to reconnect with the outdoors, get back into fitness, and realize just how destructive my lifestyle had become. Over time, the business changed. I clung to the best parts of my work while, in reality, it was slowly chipping away at my mental health. I had invested so much in my physical well-being and was using that as an escape. I was living two lives: crafting menus I no longer believed in, holding coaching sessions that felt disconnected. The role no longer served me, and I no longer fit. It wasn’t right or wrong—it was just business. I realized my true purpose was helping people, making a difference. Today, I coach, personal train, and run—a lot. I’m still a strong advocate for mental health. As fast as my new path has taken off (faster than I ever expected), I couldn’t completely step away from the industry that gave me so much. I wanted to empower change. Bar operations and creative development are often lumped together, usually filled by the most experienced individual, until they become the central figure in the business—without clear roles or fair compensation for the work they do. The problem is, they’re often either too operational and not creative enough or vice versa. Most of the time, businesses can’t afford both roles, and the individual becomes overwhelmed, which leads to burnout or being let go. I’ve seen it first-hand through years of delivering redundancies. My goal was to bridge that gap. I want to set businesses up for long-term success by channelling collective knowledge, providing the tools and experience necessary to enable future bar operations and creative teams to thrive. This is about progress and saving bars from losing their best people and creating a more profitable business. This has been a long time coming. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’re building here at Industry Spirit, and whilst I attempt to find balance in both worlds, I’m excited to keep working alongside some of the most amazing and selfless people. If you’re part of a growing hospitality group, bar, or an individual facing challenges—we can help. Between us, we’ve seen it all and, more often than not, done more with less. If we haven’t seen the problem before, we’ll work relentlessly until we find a solution. Follow us, share, and get in touch. Let’s continue to make great things happen. ✨

🍹 🍸 🍷 Key Takeaways from Bar Convent Berlin 2024 🍹 🍸 🍷 Had an absolute blast at Bar Convent Berlin with Sophie S D Cookson. The biggest takeaway for Craft & Culture was just how low the awareness and understanding of the Middle Eastern & Indian export markets are within the industry. To the point that a large number of brands are still unaware of the opportunity and even that consumers can access alcohol at all! This lack of awareness represents a major missed opportunity, as brands may not yet realise the potential demand or know how to navigate the region’s complexities, but at a same time signals how early we are, even with the recent and undeniable growth of the region as a whole The Untapped Potential of the Middle Eastern Market 🤔 The Middle East’s hospitality scene has expanded rapidly, with cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha leading the way. From luxury hotels to thriving nightlife and a growing base of discerning consumers, the Middle East presents a lucrative yet under explored opportunity for craft and artisan alcoholic drink brands. Why Middle East Markets are a Great Fit for Craft Brands 🤔 💡A Growing Appetite for Authenticity and Quality With a significant young population, the Middle East increasingly values authentic experiences. Craft and artisan alcoholic beverages, celebrated for their quality and unique backstories, are a perfect match for this market. 💡Expanding Cultural Landscape and Tourism Tourism in the Middle East is seeing unprecedented growth, attracting diverse clientele who seek unique, premium products. 💡Gaps in the Market In many parts of the Middle East, consumers have limited access to unique, craft-oriented alcoholic drinks, creating a prime opportunity for challenger brands. 🗝️ The Access Challenge: Understanding the Market’s Nuances 🗝️ While opportunities are abundant accessing the Middle Eastern market requires a nuanced approach: 💡Regulatory Knowledge: Alcohol regulations vary significantly across countries and cities. Understanding each market’s unique requirements is essential. 💡Cultural Sensitivity and Localisation: Craft brands must align their messaging with the region’s values and tailor branding to resonate with local consumers without compromising their identity. 💡Local Partnerships and Distribution: Partnering with local distributors is often the key to effective market access, providing essential insights and connections with licensed venues. How can Craft & Culture help? For brands interested in accessing this market, Craft & Culture is here to bridge the gap. With a deep understanding of the Middle East’s beverage scene, Craft & Culture can help brands navigate regulatory nuances and establish local partnerships that resonate with consumers. WOW, I know it’s LinkedIn but it’s a special moment to share. Isel Laguado, MPM and I both worked in the Cruise Idustry and as everyone knows our industry was dramatically hit due to Covid and 1,000’s of us were all laid off with a bleak future and so much uncertainty. I found myself with no job, no income, a single father with 2 children, times were tough and the light at the end of the tunnel was very distance. LinkedIn was my savior, my morning routine over coffee searching for employment opportunities, connecting with people, and that’s where I connected with Isel, we were both searching. She was a single mother with two children with the same challenges and struggles, We chatted, connected. encouraged each other to keep searching, sharing employment opportunity daily, and then I finally got the courage to say “hey let’s meet up” Well 4 years later we said “I do” on April 20th in a ceremony in Mexico City surrounded by family and friends celebrating our special day. We now both have amazing jobs back in the Crusie Industry that we both love and enjoy, are families are connected (blended 6) and we have never been happier. Thanks Linkedin for providing the hope and platform to motivate and inspire us to find work and connect with people when times are tough. Never loose hope, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s shining so bright now for us and we could not be more thankful and happy. #cruiseindustry, #neverloosehope, #linkedin, #thankful, #stayfocused, #cruiseships, #cruiselife,
🎉 Exciting News Alert! 🎉 Thrilled to share that Mark Oliver tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico City! 💍✨ As both of us work in the cruise industry, it was a dream come true to celebrate our love in such a vibrant and diverse city. From the stunning venue to the delicious food, every moment was magical. We were overjoyed to have our friends and family from around the world join us for this special day, making it even more unforgettable. Their love and support means the world to us. Here's to many more adventures together both on land and at sea! 🚢💖 #JustMarried #CruiseLife #LoveInMexico

Graphic Design Specialist, Marketer and Possibly your Future Colleague 🌟 Expertise in Branding, Video Editing, Motion Graphic & 2D Animation 🪄
Do you have something unique about you that makes you stand out from the crowd? When I first arrived in Finland, I noticed that I would attract a few stares, although not as much as here, where nobody even seems to look. However, not many were comfortable. I often felt awkward, more so than people made me feel. But, as time went on, I realized that embracing what makes me different is key to building self-confidence. I began to feel more confident because I was different. I'm always the one who stands out at events, meetings, and wherever I go because of the diversity I bring. And you know what? Being different allows you to stand out and shine. I remember someone on my LinkedIn posted a picture of an event where I was also present, and I instantly spotted myself in the crowd as the only one with head scarf. It made me realize that being unique isn't a weakness; it's my strength. Moreover, I've noticed that Finland's work environments are increasingly embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion. It's heartening to see companies here welcoming individuals from various backgrounds and cultures, making an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected. Just like the company I work in, Crowd For Impact, we are three different nationalities, races, and backgrounds. We embrace the diversity of perspectives and cultures, and it enriches our work environment in profound ways. So, if you ever feel like you don't quite fit in, remember that your uniqueness is what makes you special. Embrace it, and watch yourself glow. 😎
