Some Interesting insights into the NCAA college hockey transfer trends from the 2023 portal:🤔 291 Division-I players entered the portal. 74.2 percent transferred to new Division-I programs. 9.6 percent went Division-III. 4.8 percent turned pro after entering. 4.8 percent never landed anywhere. 2.1 percent stayed with current team. 1.4 percent played ACHA club hockey. 6 Division-III players moved up to Division-I. It’s very important to have realistic expectations when you enter the transfer portal and you understand all the possible outcomes. ANSWER We don't know when the announcement will be coming but to do the organizations players and parents justice it should had already been announced We will just do bulletpoints 1) system will follow Hockey Canada regarding roster spots 2) can not do multiple team tryouts or have multiple offers without declining first one Those are 2 main points we are hearing so teams need to pick the right player. Players and Parents need to pick right team. Teams with later tryouts their teams will suffer. What’s the state of youth hockey today? The NHL & NHLPA saw a record number of hockey players last season in its Learn to Play and First Shift programs. For USA Hockey, girls hockey participation has increased by 65% over the past 15 seasons. For Hockey Canada, more than half a million players registered last season, and 1 in 4 players are female. For thousands of boys and girls in hundreds of community rinks across the U.S. and Canada, a new hockey season is about to begin. Good luck to everyone for the upcoming season!”
