Production Management :- Minimizing variance and wastage by means of activities like standardization, variety reduction and quality control to improve cost of production and satisfaction of customers and less returns or customers complaints which result in efficiency of the overall supply chain. 5. Cost Management :- Minimizing total cost of operation & procurement to improve products competitiveness and efficiency of the supply chain. 6. Total Quality Control :- Total Quality control including Product Quantity control improves the efficiencies of supply chain which could result in higher brand or product value and organisation bottom line. 7. Resources Management :- Achieving maximum efficiency in using labour, capital & plant through the company to improve Return on Investment. 8. Planning & Control :- Flexible planning and control procedures to improve supply chain's efficiency and effectiveness.
