Breast cancer remains a significant burden in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where over 50% of cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage, compared to less than 20% in high-income countries (HICs). Late-stage diagnosis greatly reduces treatment effectiveness and survival outcomes. It is crucial that we raise awareness and advocate for improved early detection of breast cancer. By working together, we can address these disparities and have a meaningful impact on the outcomes of this disease. #PinkOctober 💕 #FightCancer #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

Did you know? The survival rate for breast cancer varies by stage and many factors. For those diagnosed early, the survival rate is significantly higher, with many going on to live healthy, fulfilling lives after treatment. However, for stage 4 breast cancer, the 5-year survival rate is around 28% in the U.S. This highlights the importance of regular screenings, early detection, and continuous research to improve outcomes for all stages of breast cancer. Let’s continue to support awareness, research, and resources to bring hope and progress for everyone affected. 💖 #BreastCancerAwareness #EarlyDetection #Support #Messageofhope
