More than 40 % of the BWT Alpine partners have been with the team for the last five years. BWT Alpine Formula 1 team is one of the Formula 1 teams with relatively small changes in the partnership network. It is perhaps typical for manufacturer teams, the small changes, but it is still an achievement. 👉 If we compare the 2020 Renault F1 team partnership network and the BWT Alpine network of 2024 40 % of the 2020 partners are still with the team. 👉 If we look at the number of partners the difference from year-to-year is very small. In 2020 Renault did not have other Renault brands than Renault on the network. Now Renault e-Tech and Alpine Eyewear are partners. DP World was a Renault partner in 2020. Now the Emirates port logistics company is a McLaren partner. Genii Capital was on the network as a partner and co-owner in 2020. Renault Group re-entered Formula One following its acquisition of 90% of the team from Genii in late 2015. Renault Group acquired Genii Capital’s remaining minority shareholding in Alpine Racing Limited in 2021. In December 2023 Alpine announces the closing of the acquisition of a 24% stake in Alpine Racing Ltd by a group of investors for €200 million, valuing the company at around $900 million. Otro Capital and a group of investors, which includes RedBird Capital Partners and Maximum Effort Investments acquired the stake.  

McLaren announced on Tuesday that Alpinestars is the new technical clothing partner in Formula 1, IndyCar, Formula E, Extreme E and F1 Academy. This is the reason why Sparco has not been on the McLaren partnership list 2024. When we look at the Aston Martin list Alpinestars is missing, so perhaps McLaren and Aston Martin switch the partnerships, Alpinestars moving to McLaren and Sparco goes to Aston Martin. Sparco announced a partnership with RedBull in October 2023, so Sparco is making some changes. That leaves Haas and McLaren with Alpinestars. Aston Martin is loosing Peroni to Ferrari, as Asahi Group has signed with Ferrari. That could bring Spanish Hijos de Rivera and Estrella Galicia to Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso. Taking into consideration McLaren has the largest partnership network the changes are minor.

This mirrors how successful products are built—through strategic vision, aligning teams, and consistent iteration. 3. Consistent Performance: The balance between their experienced driver Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Their consistent scoring has allowed McLaren to close the gap on Red Bull significantly, from 115 points behind after six races to leading the Constructors' Championship with 20 points. McLaren's success shows that combining technical skills, leadership, and teamwork can lead to victory, even in fast-paced and competitive environments.

Formula 1 is back in Europe 🇪🇺 But which Formula 1 team has the highest number of partners from Europe? The answer is Stake F1 Kick Team Sauber. Formula 1 teams have different partnership strategies. So the number of partners is not always reflecting success on the partnership market, rather the strategy chosen. But it is still interesting to compare the partnership networks and find similarities and differences. Sauber, or Stake F1 Kick Sauber, is the team with the highest number of partners from Europe. Audi is about to take over 100 % ownership, and it will be highly interesting to follow how Audi will change the Sauber partnership network. My guess is there will be a lot of changes. Ferrari is with the highest number of partners from Italy also a team with many European partners. McLaren, the team with more than 50 partners 2024, have also many European partners, but BWT Alpine is close.
