THOUGHT FOR THE DAY. I haven’t posted for about a week. Some times we just have weeks like that where we have so much on the go that some things have to be sidelined. One key peice of advice I went to give if your having one of those weeks is stay #focused and remain on #task. The goal is to complete tasks by prioritizing the #vitalfew and give less value to the #trivial tasks through your day. My approach to a busy week is to work on a task until it’s complete and to take action to not allow other tasks to impact my focus. By taking this approach, even though there may be a number of items on my agenda, I make progress. With a focus on task you increase opportunities for productivity and inherently overall #success. One key benefit to this approach is the impact it has on your #mentalhealth. By staying focused you dont risk being overwhelmed and feeling the effects of the stressors of your current situation. Honestly, it has taken me a very long time to learn how to maintain my composure during busy times and from these lessons I have become very skilled with #adversity and #resilience. As a #leader, I am tasked with maintaining a positive work environment for my team and to ensure the effects of the workweek don’t impact those around me in a negative way. A positive mindset breads #positivity and always will. What advice do you have for increasing your chances of a productive and successful week when you have a heavy workload on your plate? I look forward to your thoughts and contributions. Have you ever wondered: "What does the perfect work day look like?" If you're like me, there is nothing that gives me more satisfaction than: • Crossing things off the list • Getting ahead of the game • Wrapping up the day ahead of schedule If you had a blank day, what would you do? This is my approach: (1) PLAN → Start with a clear list of tasks → Prioritise the list and have a clear plan → Time block the day, so know when I'll do what (2) FOCUS → Turn off notifications and close outlook → Set a timer and work in 25 min blocks followed by 5 min breaks → Start the day with a coffee (3) EXECUTE → Break each task into smaller activities → Cross things off the list when they're done → Keep the momentum up Finally, I aim to stop before I feel exhausted or too tired. Research shows you can only do about 3 or 4 hours of sustained "deep work". I spend the rest of my time checking emails or slack messages and using this "busy work" to wind down. If I miss any of these steps, I'm never at my best. What about you? How much do you try to get done in a day and what motivates you? 👍 If you like today's post. 💬 To let me know what you think. 🔁 To help share.

Some Days Are Just Harder Than Others Let’s be real—not every day goes as planned. Whether it’s in my professional life or my personal life, some days feel like everything is stacked against me. Deadlines shift, unexpected challenges pop up, or life throws something my way that I just didn’t see coming. And when you’re juggling it all—managing work, family, and everything in between—it can feel overwhelming. But here’s what I’ve learned: it’s okay to have hard days. 👉 It’s okay to feel frustrated when things don’t go the way you planned. 👉 It’s okay to take a deep breath (or a moment to cry) when it feels like too much. 👉 It’s okay to give yourself grace instead of guilt. The truth is, those tough days don’t define me. They’re just part of the bigger picture. The important thing is to keep showing up—imperfectly, authentically, and with as much strength as I can muster. Some days, that strength is tackling challenges head-on. Other days, it’s knowing when to ask for help or take a step back to recharge. To anyone else having one of those days: You’re not alone. Hard days are part of the journey, but so is the resilience we build along the way. Here’s to showing up, even when it’s tough. 💪 #Resilience #WorkingMomLife #ProfessionalJourney #GraceNotPerfection #KeepShowingUp

Here's What I Do to Simplify My Day I set a target to complete just three important tasks each day That's it—just THREE! I pick my top three priorities of the day And give them my full attention Because ✅ It is manageable ✅ It reduces stress ✅ I feel more in control ✅ It keeps me motivated ✅ I can concentrate on my energy ✅ I get the major part of my day’s work done effectively And I still have energy left over No burnout No frustration So, Don’t juggle too many tasks at once Narrow your focus to just three important things And see how much smoother your day goes 🖤✨

𝗜 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲. 𝗠𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵... I don't know how many of you will relate to me. But I always do much more when I have multiple things scheduled for one day. And I find myself procrastinating on each task when there's just a few in my to-do list. I wondered why this may be the case. So I googled it and I loved the answers. When you have a lot to do, you automatically 1. Prioritize 2. Build momentum 3. Plan and structure your day properly 4. And boost productivity by creating a sense of urgency. So if you ever want to remain productive, fill up your day (but don't overwork yourself!)
