A common misconception about programming is that you need to have a strong background in mathematics to succeed. 🤔 But that's simply not true! 🚫 Learning programming is like learning a new language; it's a skill that anyone can acquire. ✅ While mathematics is certainly a way of thinking, you don't need to be a math whiz to start programming. 😶 With time and practice, you'll begin to see things from a new perspective and adapt to the thought process. So don't let the fear of math hold you back from exploring the world of programming! 😉 #softwareengineering #softwaredeveloper #javadeveloper #programmingjourney #motivation #hardwork #engineering

Undergraduate at Vignan Institute of Technology and Science | Aspiring AI & Data Science Specialist | Passionate About Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics
🎉 Excited to share that I've just completed the "Maths for Programmers" online course! 📚✨ This course was an incredible journey into the fundamental math concepts that are essential in the world of programming. Here’s what I’ve learned: 🔹 Fundamental Math Concepts : Gained a solid understanding of the key mathematical principles used in programming. 🔹 Algebra, Calculus, Probability, and Statistics : Learned to apply these core areas of math directly in my coding projects, enhancing the depth and functionality of my work. 🔹 Code Optimization : Discovered how to use mathematical techniques to optimize my code and significantly improve performance. 🔹 Real-World Problem Solving : Equipped with the skills to apply math concepts to tackle and solve real-world programming challenges. I'm excited to put these new skills into practice and continue to grow as a programmer. Big thanks to everyone who supported me along the way! #LifelongLearning #Programming #Mathematics #Coding #ProfessionalDevelopment

Three important things I learned today from a course that I've just started on how to learn maths: Just because some ideas are common or have been around a long time doesn't make them true, and in fact some of them can be very damaging and hold people back from enjoying things that they could really benefit from. Another important thing to know is that our brains our incredibly powerful and flexible, and that means we can all learn anything we like and become smarter and make our brains learn and retain whatever we want, without ever hitting a limit! And the last important thing that I really loved learning today was that "Ideas in the world are for everyone to enjoy, whether they are reading, puzzle building, programming a computer." "Never let anyone tell you that an idea is not for you, or that you cannot do well in math. If they tell you these things then that is because they don't know the latest research on the brain and learning." How to Learn Math: For Students https://lnkd.in/gUKpWk6f

I recently completed the "Welcome to Section" online course at Stanford University, where I learned the fundamentals of programming through Karel the Robot. Karel, a simple educational language, was a great introduction to key programming concepts like: Algorithmic thinking: Breaking down problems into logical steps. Conditional statements: Making decisions within a program. Loops: Repeating actions efficiently. While Karel himself might be a virtual robot, the skills I'm gaining are real-world applicable! I'm looking forward to using this foundation to build my programming knowledge and explore more complex languages. #programming #kareltherobot #stanford #learning
