I firmly believe that diversity isn't just a buzzword, it's the cornerstone of innovation, growth, and success in any business. Our team is a tapestry of different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, which enables us to approach challenges creatively and serve our clients with unparalleled excellence.
In today's competitive landscape, embracing diversity means more than just checking a box. It’s about fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique insights. This is especially important when we think about inclusivity in all forms, including neurodiversity, which often gets overlooked in discussions about workplace diversity.
This article from the Royal Institute of British Architects highlights how crucial it is to support neurodivergent individuals, not just in education but in every aspect of life, including the workplace. By ensuring our practices are inclusive and supportive, we open the door to untapped potential and creativity that can drive our businesses forward.
At CFA, we are committed to creating a culture where diversity is celebrated and where every team member can thrive. I’ve seen firsthand how this approach leads to richer ideas, more effective problem-solving, and ultimately, a more successful business.
Let's continue to champion diversity in all its forms and recognise the immense value it brings to our teams and our work. Together, we can build businesses that are not only successful but also make a positive impact on society!

KoozArch’s Issue #03 | New Rules for School
My conversation with Tatiana Bilbao (Tatiana Bilbao ESTUDIO), Elisa Iturbe (Outside Development), and Ayesha Ghosh (Studio Ghosh).
Closing KoozArch’s third editorial Issue “New Rules for School”, these three designers and educators discuss the tools of pedagogy and professional practice in architecture, from collective acts to mentorship. From representation to formal organization through collective designing, their design and educational activities deal with spatial, social, economic, and environmental systems and processes, understanding architecture as a tool that permits our cohabitation on the planet.

New book out!!
When we were preparing the Rethink the City MOOC, we were constantly labelled as the course about the urban challenges of the Global South. Despite a great share of students coming from the Global North and presenting cases from their local context, it was hard to avoid it. We never had a problem with the Global South label itself, but the term seemed quite limiting. We believe the term "Global South" pushes for homogenization while at the same time, it creates a barrier to South-North learning. Many cities/neighbourhoods in the so-called Global North face similar challenges of cities/neighbourhoods in the Global South. I would like to highlight the discussion in chapter 1 where we propose that the term "underrepresented geographies" might help go beyond the North-South divide and foster a cross-learning experience based on exposing cases and local challenges that are common globally.
I'm honoured to be one of the co-editors of this book, which I hope will support other teachers out there innovating with online learning together with underrepresented geographies :)
