It was a great privilege to Meet with his Excellency the Deputy Permanent Representative of Tunisia to the United Nations after the special session on Africa at the UNICEF executive board Meeting, entitled: “An Africa Fit for Children and Young People: What Investments Are Needed to Develop Africa’s Human Capital?” . Alongside passionate activists from Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, we had the opportunity to share our insights and reflections after pitching our ideas. Our discussion revolved around the pressing challenges that African youth are confronting in the face of climate change, but also the immense opportunities that lie ahead for the youngest continent. We firmly believe that it's time to RESHAPE THE NARRATIVE ABOUT AFRICA. His Excellency pledged to convey our key messages to global decision-makers, emphasizing the critical importance of two key pillars: Education of quality and implication of youth in the decision making process. We are elated that His Excellency has committed to transmitting these messages at upcoming UN summits, including the SDG Summit, and the upcoming Future Summit in 2024. #Africa #Tunisia #youth #climatechange #education
