Many couples try to start businesses together and it ends their relationship, but we've been working together for 11 years... not always happily, but we've made it work! I think it comes down to these things: 1. Accept and embrace that differences create balance! Sure, they can also create conflict, but if we embrace differences, we each are better for it. 2. Sometimes you just gotta say, "As you wish" 3. This stuff is awkward to talk about in interviews! 🤣 Have you worked with your spouse or life partner? How did it go? Any lessons to share? #couplegoals #business #smallbusiness #interview #honest #honesty #couples #bettertogether #teamwork #couplesmeanbusiness #entrepreneur #entrepreneurs
How is it working with each other (as a married couple)? Do we want to kill each other?

Just Finished watch a Sam Oven Interview Ever dream of being your own boss and working on something super cool? You can! Today we're gonna learn from Sam, a business whiz who turned his passion into a million-dollar idea. Here are 10 awesome tips to get you started: Do What You Love! Don't pick a business just because you think it'll make money. Pick something you're really interested in, like drawing or video games! You'll have more fun and do a better job. Building is Like Making a Race Car! Just like you wouldn't throw a bunch of random parts on your bike, a business needs a plan. You gotta figure out what you need to make your idea work. Keep it Simple! Sometimes businesses try to do too much at once. Focus on the most important things that will help your customers first. Find a Super Smart Teammate! Working with a friend who's good at different things than you is awesome! They can help you with stuff you find tricky. Make Friends with Other Business Kids! There are tons of people online and at events who are also starting businesses. Chat with them and learn from each other! Maybe Keep Your Day Job (For Now)! Building a business takes time. Having a regular job can help you pay the bills while you work on your awesome idea. Solve Problems People Already Have! Don't try to invent something nobody needs. Look for problems people face and create a solution they'll love. Be Patient! Building a successful business isn't like baking cookies. It takes time and hard work. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen overnight. Save Up Your Money! The less you spend on things you don't need, the more you can invest in your business and make it even cooler. Great Businesses Don't Happen Overnight! Don't be fooled by stories of people getting rich quick. Building something awesome takes dedication and a never-give-up attitude. Sam's story is proof that anyone with a cool idea and a lot of hard work can be a successful entrepreneur. Here is a link to the full video ! So, what are you waiting for? Let me tell you very clearly today that the only difference between doing a job and entrepreneurship is that: When you do a job, you have to sell yourself in the interview, whereas if you go towards entrepreneurship, you have to sell yourself as well as your idea 💡.

Cramming code and passing interviews isn't real success. True success lies in embracing the process and fully enjoying it. While cramming may help you clear an interview, it won't give you the freedom to truly enjoy your work or grow in your career. Real growth comes from understanding, problem-solving, and the journey of continuous learning. Will you cram, or dive deep and master your skill? #SoftwareDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #Growth

Reflecting on my recent customer interviews, I've come to the realization that my enthusiasm for my solution may have overshadowed my ability to truly listen and gather valuable feedback. It's so easy to get caught up in our own ideas, but I've learned the importance of putting the customer's perspective first. After reading 'The Mom Test' and seeking guidance from my mentor, I now understand the necessity of truly understanding the pain points of the industry from the customer's point of view. I'm committed to putting this knowledge into practice and ensuring that my solution addresses real customer needs. Looking forward to implementing these insights in my future interactions with customers. #CustomerFeedback #Entrepreneurship #ContinuousLearning
