Good news, but once again - an economist ignoring the recovery of unspent Billions from Bidenomics and the Green New Scam. "The man known as the "world's most accurate economist" has predicted that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will win the Nov. 5 presidential election, and that the GOP will take full control of Congress." "Christophe Barraud, the chief economist at Market Securities Monaco, has been named by Bloomberg as the top forecaster for 11 of the last 12 years. Barraud posted on X, "Looking at different metrics such as betting markets, polls, election modelers' forecasts, financial markets, as of now, the most probable outcomes are: [1] #Trump victory [2] #GOP clean sweep." Barraud said while a GOP takeover of the House may be trickier, it appears, at the moment, that they will prevail." "Barraud said a Trump win with Republican control of Congress could boost the GDP by 2.1% to 2.3% in 2025, as Trump would likely be able to implement tax cuts for corporations and focus on his domestic agenda. But Barraud warns that such tax cuts, without corresponding funds, could tick up the national deficit." https://lnkd.in/eFPFf-H4

The prospect of a Republican or Conservative President brings with it a unique set of potential impacts on the financial markets. Here are a few tangibles we're watching as a financial services marketing agency: 🤓 Tax Policy - Republican Presidents often advocate for lower taxes for corporations and high-income individuals. This can boost corporate profits, potentially leading to higher stock prices and increased investments in the stock market. Regulation - Conservative administrations typically favour deregulation, aiming to reduce the burden of government rules on businesses. This can lead to increased business activity and innovation. Spending and Deficit - While Conservative Presidents often aim to reduce government spending, they may also prioritise defence spending. Monetary Policy Influence - While the Federal Reserve operates independently, the president's appointments to key positions can influence monetary policy decisions, impacting interest rates and market liquidity. Energy and Environmental Policies - Republican Presidents typically support traditional energy sectors like oil and gas, which can lead to growth in these industries. This may mean less focus on renewable energy investments, influencing market trends in the energy sector. The financial markets are influenced by a myriad of factors, and with Biden out of the race, things just got even more interesting. Do you think the President has the power to significantly impact market movements? #Economy #FinancialMarkets #Politics #Investment #TaxPolicy #Deregulation #Trade #EconomicGrowth #StockMarket
