We have grown our monthly service plan subscribers from 4,000 to over 15,000 in 5 years. Here's how: 1. In 2019, we simplified our plans into a single membership plan. We don't have 3 plans. No bronze, silver, gold options. We have a single tier that bundles the benefits of being a multi-trade business. It is much easier for both our field professionals and customers to understand. Our best plumbing professionals sell our Home Protection Plan (which includes HVAC maintenance visits) on 20% of all our plumbing calls. That's the power of simplicity. 2. We transitioned from annual payment plans to monthly subscriptions that never expire. Your membership retention rate will jump considerably. 3. We don't try to be the cheapest plan in our market. We tried to build the most valuable plan, and the price matches the value. We charge $36 per month for a single HVAC system and $20 per month for each additional system. This includes all air filters, humidifier pads, two maintenance visits each year, priority service, and discounts across all our service lines. 4. We train our customer experience team to offer Home Protection Plans on the phone. Even when the that customer service representative doesn't close the sale at the time of booking, they will have set the field professional up for success. 5. We include member pricing alongside non-member pricing on every service option presented to the customer. 6. We build a 1-year membership into the price of every new HVAC equipment installation, and make sure we build value in maintenance during those visits following the equipment installation. Simple is scalable.
