Ross Sergeant’s Post

Global Head of Media at Allwyn

My husband Dominic Sergeant is a master at placemaking. First the awesome Clean Kitchen Club restaurant and the Tomb Raider experience from Little Lion Entertainment in Camden and now the fabulous LA-famous EGGSLUT UK in East Village. I’m in awe of how these property developers curate and build exciting and invigorating retail spaces where we bring people together. Brilliant work. In the property industry, "place-making" refers to the intentional and collaborative process of designing and developing physical spaces, such as urban neighborhoods, commercial districts, or residential communities, with the goal of creating vibrant, attractive, and sustainable environments that enhance the quality of life for those who live, work, or visit there. Place-making involves careful consideration of factors like urban design, architecture, landscaping, amenities, and community engagement to foster a sense of identity, belonging, and connectivity within a specific location. The aim is to create spaces that not only serve functional purposes but also contribute to the overall well-being and social cohesion of the community. #placemaking #propertydevelopment #retail https://lnkd.in/eNpXYd3g
