Creating an educational roadmap based on interactive and engaging materials and experiences is essential for fostering a wholesome learning environment. By incorporating hands-on activities, real-world applications, and dynamic content, students are more likely to stay motivated and retain information. Moreover, having role models such as professionals and experts in fields like science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) can significantly enhance the learning experience. These role models not only provide inspiration but also offer practical insights and mentorship that can help students visualize their future careers and understand the relevance of their studies. When students see successful individuals who have pursued paths in STEAM fields, they gain a better understanding of the possibilities available to them. This can be particularly impactful for underrepresented groups, who may not see themselves reflected in traditional educational materials. Incorporating role models into the educational roadmap will be done through guest lectures, mentorship programs, internships, and virtual interactions.
