This is a big step forward!! 🎉 We need more states to allow our licenses to convey across state lines. 🇺🇸 It is so expensive and such a burden for the clinician to re-certify in their new state. Congratulations Colorado! On Friday, May 17, 2024, Governor Jared Polis signed the DDH legislation into law making Colorado the 8th state to join the DDH Compact to facilitate the interstate practice of dentistry and dental hygiene. Senate Bill 24-010 passed unanimously! Colorado will join the other seven compact states with representation on the commission this fall where they will elect an executive committee, vote on initial rules and bylaws, acquire a data system, develop an application process, and take other steps for the compact to move towards being fully operational.
