A Great Place to Work? Witnessing the recent events at the Great Place to Work Institute (India) has been quite an eye-opener. The sudden and unceremonious dismissal of their CEO, Ms Ramaswamy, over a Zoom call at 2:30 AM while she was abroad attending a global summit, raises many questions about the corporate culture and values we aspire to uphold. As someone deeply invested in fostering a healthy and sustainable work environment, I find it ironic and disheartening that the very organization responsible for rating other companies on their work culture could act in such a manner. The subsequent erasure of her contributions and the swift announcement of new leadership, without any apparent transparency or communication, underscores a stark contrast to the values of "diversity," "equity," and "inclusion" that they champion. This incident highlights the uphill battle for a genuine and consistent good work culture in India. It’s a reminder that corporate India still has a long way to go in ensuring that values are not just buzzwords, but are truly reflected in our actions and decisions. Let's use this as a catalyst to reflect on our practices and strive for a more transparent, respectful, and inclusive corporate environment. #CorporateCulture #Leadership #Inclusion #WorkplaceEthics #Sustainability https://lnkd.in/g9WvS9ns

🌟 Honored to speak at FORE School of Management, New Delhi , where I had the opportunity to connect with the future trailblazers of India's business landscape. Our conversation was a deep dive into the dynamic interplay between Entrepreneurship and Employment—two pillars that are far more interconnected than we often acknowledge. As India rides the crest of a startup wave, reminiscent of the USA in the 1970s, the need for entrepreneurial visionaries is as critical as ever. But equally vital are employees who think and act like entrepreneurs, bringing innovation and ownership to every role they take on. 🚀 At Awign, we’re at the forefront of this transformation. Through our Omni Staffing model and Retail Branding and Loyalty Solutions, we're not just creating jobs—we're creating entrepreneurs. We're empowering individuals, especially women, to seize new opportunities and redefine what's possible in their careers. My key takeaways for tomorrow's leaders: 1️⃣ Define Your Vision and Values – These aren't just words; they are the beacons that will guide you through every challenge. 2️⃣ Communicate with Clarity and Passion – Make sure your team is not just aware of your vision, but deeply connected to it. 3️⃣ Surround Yourself with Entrepreneurial Minds – Seek out those who don't just execute but innovate, who see opportunities where others see obstacles. To all the aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders: the future isn’t just coming—it’s yours to create. 💡🌍 #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #FutureOfWork #OmniStaffing #Loyalty and Rewards #Visual Merchandising and Branding #WomenEmpowerment #BusinessLeadership #Startups #Awign Anirudh Jaitly Sneha KumariRasik Mathur Rahul Singh Abhishek G Kurup Puneeth sharma Sourabh Mishra

Intrapreneurship, Recognition, and Innovation - The three are inextricably interlinked. If you are wondering what the best way is to recognize your intrapreneurs, look no further. Vanguard Awards is open again - The third year in a row and is India's only reward program for Intrapreneurs across sectors. Why recognition is imperative for Innovation? Intrapreneurship, characterized by employees exhibiting entrepreneurial behaviors within a corporate setting, flourishes in environments where recognition is abundant. Recognition catalyzes intrapreneurial endeavors, validating the efforts of employees who take risks and innovate within the organization. When intrapreneurs receive recognition for their contributions, it reinforces a culture that values creativity, initiative, and out-of-the-box thinking. ' This validation, in turn, fuels intrinsic motivation among employees, inspiring them to continue exploring novel ideas and pushing the boundaries of conventional thinking. Entrepreneur In Residence and CHRO with Machani Group. This new role offers a unique opportunity to shape a diverse portfolio of businesses within the Group, while nurturing my own entrepreneurial endeavours.
I am genuinely looking forward to this conference. The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) and the city of Mangalore hold a special place in my heart. Our discussions on the topic "Human Capital for a Developed India" are not only timely but also crucial for shaping the future of our nation. This topic requires rigorous debate and thoughtful consideration, as the development of human capital is pivotal to India’s transformation into a developed nation by 2047. To facilitate this, I plan to connect with all of you regularly before the conference. These interactions will allow us to exchange ideas, share insights, and refine our strategies to address the key challenges in human capital development. The main challenges we need to address include: 1. Unemployment: Despite economic growth, unemployment remains a significant issue. We need to explore strategies to create more job opportunities across various sectors, ensuring that our growing population can find meaningful and sustainable employment. 2. Underemployment: Many individuals are employed in jobs that do not fully utilize their skills and potential. This not only affects their personal growth but also hampers economic productivity. Addressing underemployment requires us to align educational outcomes with market needs and create pathways for skill enhancement. 3. Unequal Employment: Employment opportunities are often unequally distributed, with disparities based on geography, gender, socio-economic status, and other factors. Ensuring equal access to job opportunities and promoting inclusivity in the workforce are essential for balanced and sustainable development. To effectively tackle these challenges, we need to focus on two critical differentiators: “skill and will” -Skill: Developing a skilled workforce is fundamental. This involves not only improving the quality of education and training but also ensuring that the skills being imparted are relevant to the current and future needs of the economy. Emphasizing continuous learning and upskilling will help individuals remain competitive in a rapidly changing job market. -Will: Alongside skills, the willingness and motivation to adapt, learn, and innovate are equally important. Cultivating a growth mindset and fostering a culture of resilience and perseverance will empower individuals to overcome challenges and seize opportunities. Encouraging entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem-solving will also contribute to a more dynamic and robust workforce. In summary, our goal is to build a resilient, inclusive, and skilled workforce that can drive India’s progress towards becoming a developed nation. I am eager to engage in meaningful discussions with all of you and collaborate on effective strategies to address these challenges. Together, we can create a future where every individual has the opportunity to realize their potential and contribute to the nation’s growth and prosperity. Global HR Community NIPM India
